Hello,

I have installed the terminal miner following these instruction. I have also made the changes described in ./tutorials/how-to-mine-webd-windows-terminal.md to use cpu-cpp.

Synchronizing took too long so i downloaded the blockchain from here and extracted it in ./blockchainDB3.

After using
Code: Select all
npm run start_mining
it starts loading the blockchain. When it gets to about 220000 it starts slowing down, and at around 230000 it throws
Code: Select all
FATAL ERROR: CALL_AND_RETRY_LAST Allocation failed - JavaScript heap out of memory
I have tried
Code: Select all
increase-memory-limit
with the same result. When this happens, the process is using about 2.3GB of memory, and i have around 50% free RAM.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks.

Thank you for the reply. It looks like the instructions I followed, with the exception of git. I'll try it as soon as I have access to my machine.

On a slightly related note: does it have to use Python 2.7? Is 3.x not compatible?

Thank you.

Seems to be working now. But now it's throwing a lot of BANNNNNNS and doesn't seem to work with the full blockchain. Separate issue, though.

Thank you.
